Psalm 93:4

A lot has happened since I last posted, and every time a lot happens since my last post, I tend to want to just stop blogging because I feel as though I'll never catch up! It's times like those that I post something out of order, just to get something down in blog world so that I still feel connected. SO this is one of those kinds of posts! In the last 12 days, we've driven from Minot, North Dakota to Vista, California and then up to Anaheim, California where vacationed at Disneyland for 6 days! Eventually I will share details about all of the fun we had, but since I am too tired to do it right, I'm posting about what we did today instead!

We slept in. Then we lounged around in our jammies after breakfast. (then I did some laundry) Then we went to In N Out for lunch. It was good. Then we drove to my most favorite beach in Southern California. Del Mar!

When we were dating, David and I used to drive down Via Dela Valle from Escondido to Del Mar where we would sit and dream about the future. We spent a couple of 4th of July's watching fireworks there too!

I still remember our last time there before David left for boot-camp 6 years ago~ we had gotten McDonald's cheeseburgers and had a picnic on a bench near the ocean. David was wearing his US Air Force ball cap and t-shirt! This time, we had James in tow and we had just eaten grilled cheese In N Out burgers and we're coming up on our 6th wedding anniversary! My how things change. God is so good!

My handsome husband!

Our happy little family.

Our beautiful baby boy!

We're excited for the future!

More than the sounds of many waters, more than the mighty breakers of the sea, the LORD on high is mighty, He is clothed in majesty! Psalm 93:4

Wurlitzer Restoration part 6

David finished restoring Wurly the day before the movers came! I hope to have him write a post to tell you more about the whole experience once we get settled, but for now, here are some pictures for your enjoyment!

We have a lot going on and I have so much to post about, so check back soon for an update! :)

What a Happy Thanksgiving!

Our family had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We had berry coffee cake for breakfast and spent the morning relaxing in our pajamas. For dinner, in place of the turkey, I made confit byaldi, along with sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole and David's cranberry sauce. We were stuffed!

Happy Thanksgiving!

The handsome boys ready to gobble gobble!

Mmmmm!

James loved the confit byaldi!

David- with a very full belly!

This one came out kind of cool!

After dinner, we web-cammed with Grandma (and BO!) and James played peek-a-boo with her. It was so sweet. After James was tucked into bed, David and I watched White Christmas and ate pumpkin pie with whipped cream. It was a wonder-filled day!
